To set this up wirelessly, you must connect the USB cable to your PC initially and the driver/setup install will walk you through that (make sure it's plugged into a USB 2.0 and not 1.0 like I did lol) Instead, download the basic driver for this printer on the HP website and install it before you power on the printer. Overall Review: Don't use the CD, it'll install a bunch of bloatware you don't want. Construction on paper tray feels flimsy but for 50 bucks lol, can't complain, just glad it works. A little noisier than other printers I've owned.Ģ. Paper feed on the bottom, below where printed documents come out (good for limited space)Ĭons: 1. Nice LED display with useful tools like ink level, wireless, copy & print, etc.Ĥ. Can print remotely from anywhere by sending an email to your HP account.Ĥ. Very easy to set up wirelessly and print from any PC and mobile device on your home network.ģ. Ink cartridges come without the spray heads. Overall Review: Have not tested the ePrint feature yet. NOTE: this is only a problem when printing in double sided mode with extra narrow margins. I had a problem where the headers on some documents did not print. This does not solve the 1/2 of an inch of unprintable areas. The shrinking can be solved by deselecting the "preserve layout" option. Kinda sucks when the document has 8 point font already. When printing double sided prints, the printer shrinks the document because it cannot print on the top 1/2 or so of an inch. The setup process also allows for a user to opt out of all bloatware that usually comes with a printer. It even set up the wireless connection with a click of one button! (A definite plus after having to previously deal with glitchy setups from Samsung clp315w)

This printer has the easiest set up process I've ever had to deal with. Some ink from included cartridge is used to start up the printer.Īdditional Information Date First Available
